Why this channel exists

Welcome to Rays Music. This channel is dedicated to Christian worship and praise music and Scripture-inspired songs, including original worship songs, lyric videos, and Chinese/English subtitles. May these songs lead listeners closer to the Lord, help them meditate on His Word, and find comfort, strength, and hope in worship. All glory to God.

The music

Most of what you will find here is original worship music. The melodies stay quiet and singable rather than elaborate, and the words stay close to Scripture, so that what stays with you afterwards is the text itself rather than only a tune. Alongside the full songs there are seasonal collections, instrumental versions and short clips under a minute — for personal devotion, small groups, festival services, or simply to send to a friend having a hard week.

Scripture and bilingual subtitles

Many of the songs begin from one specific passage, and the passage is shown in the video so you can see where the words come from. Most videos carry both Chinese and English subtitles — partly so that second-generation listeners who grew up outside Chinese-speaking countries can follow the lyrics, and partly so that non-Chinese-speaking believers can worship alongside them. A number of songs are written in English and collected under English worship.

The channel has been publishing on YouTube since August 2022 and now has 40+ videos, 330,000+ views and 1,000+ subscribers. Listeners are spread across many countries and time zones — some singing together in church, some listening alone late at night. This website exists to sort those songs by theme, so the right one is easier to find when it is needed.

How the work is made

AI tools are used in parts of the music and video production. The theme of each song, the passage it rests on, the direction of the lyrics and the final result are all chosen, revised and approved by a person before anything is published. It is written here plainly because listeners have a right to know how what they are hearing was made.
