What you may do with these songs, and what to ask about first.
Who owns what
For the songs marked as original on the channel, copyright in the words, music and video belongs to Rays Music. The text, design and layout of this website belong to Rays Music as well.
Free to use
Playing these videos in church services, small groups, prayer meetings and personal devotion, and sharing the YouTube links with anyone who needs them, requires no separate permission.
Please ask first
For any of the following, ask through the contact page, saying where and how you intend to use it: re-recording, covering or adapting a song (including rewritten lyrics, new arrangements or other-language versions); publishing subtitles in another language; re-editing the audio or video, uploading it elsewhere or including it in another work; and any commercial use.
Most of these are open to discussion — it just needs to be clear where the work will be used. Please do not download a video and re-upload it to your own channel.
Lyrics and downloads
The lyrics on a song page match the original text in that video's YouTube description and were written by Rays Music; where a description carries no lyrics, none are printed here. Sheet music and audio downloads are still being prepared — until they exist, no dead download buttons are shown and no generated text stands in for real lyrics.
Not every work on the channel is wholly owned by Rays Music. Where copyright is not wholly held, this site publishes no full lyrics and offers no downloads of any kind, and the song page says so.
Thumbnails, Scripture, name and logo
Thumbnails in the listings and on song pages are the official video thumbnails, served from this site; rights in them remain with their respective owners. Some works quote or draw on Scripture, and copyright in each Bible translation belongs to its own rights holder — where a song page cites a passage, only a verified reference is given. The name "Rays Music" and the channel logo belong to Rays Music; please do not use them in a way that suggests affiliation with or endorsement by the channel.
If something is wrong, tell us
If you believe anything here infringes your rights, get in touch through the YouTube channel or the Facebook page, naming the specific work and content. It will be checked and dealt with properly.
