Privacy

This site collects no personal data. Here is the only thing it does record, and how to switch it off.

What this site does not collect

Every page is generated before publishing. There are no accounts, no forms, no comments, and no backend of ours that could receive data. This site never asks you for a name, an email address, or any other personal detail.

Traffic measurement

Google Analytics 4 records which pages you view, how long you stay, where you arrived from, and the rough type of browser and device. It stores a randomly generated cookie in your browser (named starting with _ga) so repeat visits from one browser count as one visitor. Google derives an approximate country or city from your IP address, but the address itself is not kept in the reports. No advertising tracker is connected, and none of this is sold or passed on. This data is processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy.

Cloudflare Web Analytics, which comes with the host, uses no cookies and does not track you across sites. It records aggregate figures such as page views and referrers, so that visits still register when Google Analytics is blocked or unreachable.

To avoid being counted, use your browser's tracking protection, a content blocker, a private window, or Google's own Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on. Blocking it costs you nothing here — every part of the site keeps working.

YouTube videos

The player uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced address (youtube-nocookie.com), and a page shows only a thumbnail on load — no connection is made to YouTube until you click play. Thumbnails are served from this site's own domain, so browsing the listings makes no image request to Google.

Once you press play you are within YouTube's own service, where Google may set cookies and record playback under its own policy. That part is outside this site's control and is governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Hosting and external links

The static files are served by a third-party host, which may record visiting IP addresses and times in server logs for security and operational reasons. Those logs are held by the host and are not used by Rays Music for analytics or to identify anyone.

This site links to YouTube, Facebook and PayPal; once you leave, those platforms' own policies apply. Payment on the support page happens entirely on PayPal, and Rays Music never handles or sees your payment details.

Children and questions

This site has no feature that collects data from children, because it collects no data at all. Privacy questions are welcome through the contact page; any update to this notice is made by rewriting this page.
