Lyrics
He is risen
He is alive
He is risen
He is risen
He is alive
the grave is empty light has come
Jesus Christ has overcome
He is risen
He's alive
Death is broken
Hope revived
He is risen
lift Him high
Jesus lives He will not die
He is risen
He is risen
three days silent cold and still
Heaven waiting on the hill
darkness thought that love was gone
but it only made Him strong
stone was sealed the guards stood near
fear was loud but God was here
in the dark the promise stayed
power waking in the grave
feel the ground begin to shake
this is more than we can take
He is risen
He is alive
Death is broken
Hope revived
He is risen
lift Him high
Jesus lives He will not die
morning breaks the light explodes
stone is rolled
the victory shows
Angels shining voices clear
why seek life? He is not here
every chain has lost its hold
every story now retold
from the cross into the sky
Love has won, it will not die
hear the sound heavens cry
this is where the dead will rise
He is risen
He is alive
Death is broken
Hope revive
He is risen
lift Him high
Jesus lives
He will not die
the stone is gone
so is my shame
the grave is empty
I'm not the same
no more fear no more night
you pulled me into living light
the stone is gone so is my shame
the grave is empty I'm not the same
no more fear no more night
You pulled me into living light
the stone is gone so is my shame
the grave is empty I am not the same
no more fear, now I see
You pulled me into living light
from that grave
You reached me
(the grave is empty)
now Your life
(no more fear)
lives in me
He is risen
He is alive
Death is broken
Hope revived
He is risen! lift Him high!
Jesus lives He will not die
He is risen
He is risen
He is alive
He is alive
He is risen
He is risen
He is alive
He is risen He is alive
He is alive He is risen He is alive
