Lyrics
The stone was sealed the night was long
but heaven whispered
it won't be long
oh oh
come on
oh oh
darkness covered all the land
broken hearts and trembling hands
hope was buried in the grave
love was laid the world enslaved
but the ground began to shake
death could not hold what He claimed
can you feel it rising now? Heaven's power breaking out
the victory is won
the victory is won
He is risen Jesus lives
the victory is won
death defeated it is done
He has triumphed He has won
He is alive the stone is rolled
risen king forever bold
the victory is won
oh the victory is won oh
He is risen oh He has won oh
empty tumb the angels cry
why seek life among the dead
tears of sorrow turn to praise
light is breaking through the grave
every chain is falling down
Hear the resurrection sound
lift your eyes, the King is here
victory is drawing near
the victory is won
the victory is won
the victory is won
the victory is here
He is risen Jesus lives
the victory is won oh
death defeated it is done
He has triumphed He has won
He is alive the stone is rolled
risen King forever bold
the victory is won
we proclaim power lives in Jesus name
no more death and no more grave
He has risen strong to save
we are free we are free
this is our identity
lift Him high lift Him high
Jesus lives and reigns on high
the victory is won
the victory is won
oh He is risen
He has won the victory is won
the victory is won
oh
the victory is won
oh Jesus lives oh forevermore
the victory is won
the victory is won
the victory is won
King of kings
Hell defeated, death undone
He has triumphed He has won
every voice will now proclaim
Jesus Christ forever reigns
the victory is won
oh He is risen
the victory is won
oh forever oh
He has won
forever He has won
