Lyrics
[Verse 1]
The sky was painted red tonight
A mother holds her child so tight
The ground is shaking, the walls come down
But love still breathes beneath the sound
She whispers softly, "Close your eyes,
Pretend the stars are still alive"
A lullaby beneath the fire
A broken world, but hope won't tire
[Pre-Chorus]
Can you hear them calling out
From the ruins, from the doubt
Every heartbeat, every tear
Saying, "We are still right here"
[Chorus ]
We pray for peace across the sky
For every soul that's asking why
For little hands that reach for light
Oh Lord, bring peace into the night
We pray for peace, we pray for love
Send your mercy from above
Let the children laugh again
Let this war come to an end
[Verse 2 ]
A boy walks barefoot through the dust
His home is gone, but still he trusts
He draws a sun on broken walls
And dreams of days when no one falls
The world keeps spinning, headlines fade
But every wound that war has made
Is carved into a human soul
A price that no one chose to owe
[Pre-Chorus]
Can you see them holding on
To a prayer, to a song
Every voice that dares to say
"There must be a better way"
[Chorus]
We pray for peace across the sky
For every soul that's asking why
For little hands that reach for light
Oh Lord, bring peace into the night
We pray for peace, we pray for love
Send your mercy from above
Let the children laugh again
Let this war come to an end
[Bridge ]
We are one beneath the sun
Every daughter, every son
No more borders drawn in blood
We were made to rise in love
We are one, we are one
We are one, we are one
[Final Chorus]
We pray for peace across the sky
For every soul that's asking why
For little hands that reach for light
Oh Lord, bring peace into the night
We pray for peace, we pray for love
Send your mercy from above
Let the children laugh again
Oh, let this war come to an end
[Outro]
Let this war come to an end...
Oh, let this war... come to an end...
